It’s time to look behind the donuts again, this time meet Melissa! 👋

When asked, this is what Phi, our Shop Manager at Schanze, had to say about Melissa, ‚Melissa has taken on responsibility from the very beginning and as a result she has worked her way up to Assistant Manager and now even Shop Manager in a very short time. How long have you been working at Brammibal’s?
Since September 2022!

What does a typical day look like for you?
It really depends if I’m opening or closing the café, but it varies either way! The first thing I do in the morning though is dial in the coffee to make sure our coffee tastes exactly how it’s supposed to. Apart from selling donuts, making coffee and talking to our customers, I make sure that the café is looking neat and tidy, that we have everything we need in stock and just be ready for anything unexpected.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I do really love making coffee and interacting with our customers – it brings me so much joy! But also working for a company that aligns with my values is something I appreciate a lot.

What is the most challenging thing about your job?
Because we sell the best donuts ever, it can get quite busy, especially on the weekends. So to stay on top of everything can be challenging sometimes, but I also really like the hectic moments haha!
